Who we are
Claimtorch prepares manufacturer warranty claim packets for HVAC contractors. In this policy, "Claimtorch", "we" and "us" mean Claimtorch. You can reach us through the contact form on our homepage.
This website
- We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
- The calculator runs in your browser. Nothing you type into it is stored or sent to us.
- Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to run and protect the site.
Information you send us
- When you contact us: your name, company, email address and anything you include in your message.
- When you use Claimtorch: the closed-job paperwork you forward or CC to your Claimtorch intake address, or that comes over from ServiceTitan if you connect it. That can include job and invoice details, equipment model and serial numbers, nameplate photos, technician notes, and the homeowner name and address that manufacturers require on a warranty claim.
We only receive what you or your systems send us. We don't read your email inbox, and we never ask for shared portal passwords.
How we use it
- To build, track and follow up on your warranty claims.
- On the Desk plan, to file claims for you on the paths you've authorized.
- To talk with you about your account and our service.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- The distributor or manufacturer a claim is submitted to, as needed for that claim.
- Service providers that host or process information for us (for example, email, website form processing and file storage), under confidentiality obligations.
- Anyone we're required to share it with by law.
How long we keep it
We keep claim information for as long as we need it to handle your claims and keep our business records, then delete it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to any records we're legally required to keep.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you send us. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you through the contact form on our homepage.
Children
Claimtorch is a business service for HVAC contractors. It isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
